Whitening done under professional supervision is far gentler on the tooth and gums than aggressive at-home products.
Whitening Before Veneers, Crowns, or Bonding
Order matters. If your smile makeover plan includes new front-tooth dentistry, we whiten your natural teeth first, let the color stabilize for 1–2 weeks, and then design your veneers, crowns, or bonding to match the new, brighter natural shade. Whitening after these restorations are placed will only change the natural teeth around them — creating a mismatch.
