Cosmetic & General Dentistry Made Personal
A boutique cosmetic and restorative dental practice on Grand Avenue in Maspeth, Queens — co-founded by two Columbia University-trained dentists, Dr. Arthur Volker and Dr. Aadel Soleymani. Microscope-precise technique, an in-house CAD/CAM lab, and a minimally invasive philosophy come together to design smiles that look natural, last, and feel like you.
Who we are
SOL Dental Arts is a modern cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry practice rooted in Maspeth, Queens. We were co-founded by Dr. Arthur Volker and Dr. Aadel Soleymani — both Columbia University-trained dentists — around a simple idea: that great dentistry should feel less like a procedure and more like craftsmanship. Careful, considered, and shaped to the person in the chair.
We serve patients from across Queens, Long Island, and the broader NYC metro — Maspeth, Middle Village, Ridgewood, Elmhurst, Woodside, Forest Hills, Glendale, Long Island City, and beyond. Whether you're here for a single porcelain veneer, a full-mouth implant rehabilitation, a same-visit composite repair, or your first cleaning, you're treated by a co-founding dentist who is going to take the time to plan your case the way they'd plan their own family's.
Our Approach
Minimally invasive, by default
The healthiest tooth is the one we leave alone. We approach every cosmetic and restorative case asking: what's the least we can do to get a result that lasts? That philosophy — formalized in Dr. Volker's Diplomate status with the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry — shapes how we plan veneers, bondings, crowns, and restorations.
In real terms, that means we'll often recommend composite bonding before veneers, no-prep or minimal-prep veneers when they're the right fit, and bonded restorations over crowns when the tooth structure allows it. The result is a smile that ages well — not one that locked you into more dentistry every decade.
Art and science
A great cosmetic outcome is half engineering and half eye. We design smiles with attention to lip line, tooth proportion, color in motion (not just at rest), and the way your face actually moves when you talk and laugh. The "after" should look like the best version of you — not someone else's smile pasted onto your face.
A practice you don't dread
Quiet, calming office. Honest conversation. Same-day care for emergencies. Clear pricing. We've worked hard to make this the kind of dental practice that patients actually look forward to coming back to.
